Dr. Mansouri, SprintRay is known for its speed and innovation. In 2025, what can we expect to see from SprintRay?

We have just introduced Midas to the world, a smart and simple desktop printer for restorations that utilizes the patented “Digital Press Stereolithography”. Midas combines resin tank, print platform and optics in one capsule, which makes the printing process very easy. Scan the capsule, place on the printer and just like your coffee machine, pull out the final restoration after a couple of minutes.

What are the benefits of Midas for clinicians around the world?

3D printing is for everyone – and Midas is even easier to use than all other 3D printers. It is clean, easy to operate and so intuitive. Our new software AI Studio designs crowns for you after you have defined the margin. Simply approve the design, send it to Midas and in 10 minutes, you can produce up to 3 crowns, 6 inlays or onlays or 9 veneers in one go.

You mention an important point: The ease of use of technology. How does SprintRay support clinicians to adopt in-house production?

Our devices guide the user through the process. The software provides step-by-step instructions and supports clinicians or their assistants from the upload of their scan data through the design and the final printing process. If there are any open questions, our AI Assistant or in-person customer service is always ready to help and just a phone call away.

“Midas makes the printing process very easy. Scan the capsule, place on the printer and just like your coffee machine, pull out the final restoration after a couple of minutes.”

Midas can be seen as revolution for chairside manufacturing of restorations. What about the 3D printing of other indications?

Our Pro 2 3D printing system is the state-of-the-art for highly accurate and reliable outcomes. With 35µm resolution and Optical Panel technology for outstanding speed, Pro 2 is the ideal printer for night guards, models, All-on-X dentures or surgical guides. The solution is complete with the ProWash S washing and drying system and NanoCure post-curing devices with dual-wavelength technology that ensures biocompatibility and superior mechanical properties of every print.

On top of Midas, what can practitioners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa expect from SprintRay in 2025?

We will finally introduce our ceramic dominant resins Ceramic Crown and OnX Tough 2 for hybrid All-on-X dentures in the whole region. We are very proud to continue the speed of innovation. Our latest nightguard material NightGuard Flex 2 and the all-new Retainer resin as well as our SportsGuard resin are expected to hit the market within this year. Also, new material capsules for Midas will be launched, allowing users to utilize OnX Tough 2 with their Midas. But stay tuned – at SprintRay, there’s always more we have in store for our customers!
