Align brings dentists and dental laboratories together with a new series of “Align On Tour” Educational Events in Five Cities across Germany and Switzerland

After the successful sessions organized for orthodontists, Align Technology will host dedicated “Align On Tour” educational events for dentists and laboratories across five cities in Germany and Switzerland, starting in Berlin on 6 September 2024.

Align will present the benefits of a holistic ortho-restorative approach, in which teeth alignment can help dentists to perform less invasive restorative treatments. With an agenda focused on clinical evidence and best practice sharing, participants will see how digitalization can optimize workflows between dental practices and laboratories.

Due to the strong restorative focus of most practices and the benefits of pre-alignment of teeth, laboratories are indispensable partners in aligner therapy. The communication and visualization tools available make the day-to-day collaboration much easier and efficient on both sides.

“We are thrilled to bring Align on Tour to both dentists and laboratories. They will have the opportunity to deepen their clinical knowledge in a practical way during these one-day sessions and learn how to further integrate digital technology into their daily practice,” said Nuray Misteli, General Manager for DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) at Align Technology.

Participants can expect an informative program that offers both clinical and practical content, dedicated sessions for dentists and laboratories, as well as time for exchange and networking.  Prof. Dr. Jan-Frederik Güth, Prof. Dr. Falk Schwendicke, Prof. Dr. Tim Joda, PD Dr. Alexis Ioannidis, Dr. Ingo Baresel, Dr. Kristina Baumgarten, Dr. Johanna Herzog, Dr. Muhammed Kiziler, and Dr. Michaela Sehnert will cover topics such as “Digital medicine”, “Meeting patient demands” and “Cooperation between the practice and laboratory”.

The “Align On Tour” events for dental practices and laboratories will start on 6 September 2024 in Berlin, followed by sessions in four other cities: Zurich, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.
