Brand New Digital Dentistry Journal with Elsevier

brand new!

brand new!

Digital Dentistry Journal is a new international dental journal within the field of Digital Dentistry, published by Elsevier in exclusive partnership with the Digital Dentistry Society

The journal welcomes innovative research papers on digital dentistry across all dental fields and specialties; it aims to influence the practice of digital dentistry at clinician, research, industry and policy-maker level on an international basis.

The project originates from the successful editorial experience of the already existing, high-performing Digital Section of the Journal of Dentistry (edited by the Digital Dentistry Society), whose citation score has been recently increasing, and whose articles have proven extremely successful by all metrics.

Unlike the Journal of Dentistry, the new journal will be a fully open access publication, which will be promoted through advanced multi-channel marketing strategies and hyper-targeted campaigns among a very selected group of relevant researchers in the field.

The final objective will be that of growing the journal community by connecting more and more authors and readers benefiting from the long-term editorial cooperation between Elsevier and DDS, as well as creating mutual benefits for both networks.

Topics covered in the brand new Digital Dentistry Journal include intraoral, desktop, and face scanners; stereophotogrammetry; mandibular motion tracking technologies; CBCT, and new imaging techniques in dento-maxillofacial radiology; artificial intelligence; CAD/CAM softwares in digital dentistry; digital prosthodontics; new materials (zirconia, lithium disilicate, hybrid composites, polyetheretherketone and others) in digital dentistry; milling, additive manufacturing, 3D printing and bioprinting in dentistry; static computer-assisted implant surgery, dynamic and mixed reality based navigation; dental robotics; custom-made implants, scaffolds and meshes for bone regeneration; virtual, augmented and mixed reality in dentistry; and digital orthodontics.

“Unlike the Journal of Dentistry, the new journal will be a fully open access publication.”

Digital Dentistry Journal will publish original scientific research and review papers including short communications. Alongside Journal of Dentistry, Digital Dentistry Journal aims to be the leading resource for innovations and research in digital dentistry.

The Digital Dentistry Society is extremely happy to have been recognized by Elsevier as the exclusive contributor to this ambitious project and is looking forward to putting all efforts for a successful launch of the new journal, along the entire process of indexation.

Are you passionate about the future of digital dentistry? Whether you’re a researcher, clinician, or industry innovator, Digital Dentistry Journal will be the perfect platform to share your cutting-edge work with a global audience. We’re looking for groundbreaking studies, insightful reviews, and fresh ideas that can transform the way dentistry is practiced and developed.
