Btk launches Rigenera: the synthetic and digital biomaterial!

Biotec, which has been providing simple, smart and state-of-the-art solutions in the surgical and dental field since 1999, has launched Rigenera, a synthetic biomaterial made up of a 30% of hydroxyapatite (HA) and of a 70% of tribasic calcium phosphate (TCP). A perfect balance between porosity and stability of the volume, because HA guarantees a progressive absorption and preserves the compensation volume of the bone defect, whereas TCP accelerates the osseointegration and the formation of new vital bone.

Btk will provide the biomaterial in 3 formats: the traditional granular format, in 0.5 g. and 2 g. bottles with grain sizes from 0.25/1 mm and 1/2 mm and the groundbreaking Rigenera 3D in small bone blocks which are customizable thanks to the digital Btk workflow.

Rigenera can be used in 99% of your cases: it’s perfect for oral surgery, especially for post-extractive sites because it avoids the alveolar resorption, in particular in the vestibular-tongue area. It also represents an excellent adjuvant for precise aesthetic results, especially in anterior parts, because it maintains the consistency of the bone and of the gum.

In advanced surgery, it can be successfully used in cases of sinus lift, bone extensive regeneration, crestal reconstructions, intraosseous defects and exposed roots.
Moreover, together with the customized 3D Mesh (personalized grids for GBR), Rigenera is the ideal filler for more extensive GBR, as for example maxillary arches reconstructions.

Rigenera and Rigenera 3D allow you to push the boundaries of the already valuable autologous and heterologous substitutes, with a biocompatibility which is similar to the one of the human bone thanks to the simplicity and the speed of application and to the support of the most innovative solutions in the field of the digital dentistry.
