The Journal of Dentistry has achieved a new official CiteScore of 7.8, up from 7.5, marking another important milestone for the journal and the global dental research community.
What makes this achievement particularly remarkable is that the journal published more than 400 additional papers during the 2022–2025 evaluation period compared with 2021–2024. Despite this substantial increase in publication volume, the CiteScore continued to rise, demonstrating that citations are growing even faster than output.
