The Ambassador of the Digital Dentistry Society in Ukraine, Prof. Myroslav Goncharuk-Khomyn, has been assigned as a head of Department of Restorative Dentistry at Uzhhorod National University.

Even though war is ongoing, education system is still functioning in Ukraine, to provide students with high quality education. Several Universities and Departments, Professors and young Ukrainian students have in fact moved from the Eastern part to the Central and Western part of the country, because of war, thus forming a need to assure proper educational conditions for students in present time. 

Because of the war, the Department of Restorative Dentistry has been transferred too and it is adapting to function in this new difficult condition; however, they are in need of materials and supplies. They managed to have some laptops, dental instruments, books and furniture but they are still in need of many things since governmental financial support is mostly centred around army and associated military aspects, which is grounded and reasonable.

For this reason, Prof. Myroslav Goncharuk-Khomyn and its Department are struggling with partial deficiency of materials and supplies, needed to assure, and keep high quality of education process and practically-oriented teaching of future dental specialists.
