FALKO X5, Tecnomed Italia’s new wearable digital magnification system, has been designed around the way clinicians actually work, providing 5× magnification at 40 cm and automatically maintaining focus throughout the 25–50 cm working range.

FALKO X5 maintains focus throughout the entire 25–50 cm range. Clinicians can move closer to or further away from the treatment field without any manual focus adjustment: the system adjusts continuously as the working distance changes.

At 25 cm, magnification is 6×; at 40 cm, 5×; at 50 cm, 4×. Moving closer increases the level of detail, while moving further away provides a wider view of the treatment field. Continuous autofocus and variable magnification work together, adapting to the changing visual requirements throughout the procedure.

The treatment field is displayed directly in the headset. Integrated LED illumination provides a circular light spot and touch controls for dimming and on/off operation. An anti-polymerization filter completes the system for procedures where required.
