In a dental practice, much of the communication and information generated throughout the day still needs to be entered into practice management software or other digital systems. Patient conversations, phone calls, operational notes and clinical records often need to be captured quickly and, above all, accurately.
This is not always practical when the process relies entirely on manual typing, increasing the risk of making mistakes or even forgetting important details, as well as significantly slowing down every operational workflow.
This is where D.O.V.A. comes in. The Dental Office Voice Assistant is designed to support real-time data entry and transcription through voice input, while also allowing users to take notes on any editable digital platform.
Using voice dictation, D.O.V.A. enables clinicians and staff to enter notes, operational instructions, clinical records and periodontal charting directly into the input fields already used within the practice, without having to make any changes to the existing setup.
D.O.V.A. turns voice into a practical, immediate and effective operational tool, supporting any workflow that requires accurate and timely data capture.
The system is plug and play, requires no dedicated software and uses the PC’s built-in speech recognition engine. It includes a wireless microphone, a wireless foot pedal that can either replace or complement mouse use to activate voice input, and a USB receiver with an operating range of up to 7 metres.
